蘭語からの英訳本．The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University の叢書 Sargentia の一冊．原書：Herman Johanes Lam『Fragmenta Papuana』（1927〜1929年発行, Buitenzorg, Java, 353 pp. → 書誌情報）は，図版を含めれば450ページほどあるが，この英訳では，原書の93図版のうち写真図版を除いて線画イラストのみ32図版を再録しているようだ．図版に関しては「抄訳」と言うべきかも．一方，原書にはない索引が付けられている．なお，1945年2月という大戦末期に出版されたためか，日本の公的機関には一冊も所蔵されていない．
