おお，これはビシッと正しい「科学哲学」な本じゃないですか．“べいづ本”というとわれわれの業界では「論よりラン」な計算統計MCMC本をつい連想してしまうのですがね．
タイミングよく，複写依頼してあった「Bayes and Bust」書評論文も図書室から到着 —— Malcolm R. Forster (1995), [Review article] Bayes and Bust: Simplicity as a Problem for a Probabilist's Approach to Confirmation. The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science, 46 (3): 399-424 (doi:10.1093/bjps/46.3.399). 日本だとこういう長文の「書評論文」をものする人があまりいない．
これで，ずっと前に届いていた反撃「Bayes Not Bust」論文：David L. Dowe, Steve Gardner, and Graham Oppy (2007), Bayes not Bust! Why Simplicity is no Problem for Bayesians. The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science, 58 (4): 709-754 (doi:10.1093/bjps/axm033｜草稿pdfファイル) と合わせて，「Bayes/Bust三点セット」がやっとそろうことになった．
